Lyndonlea Equine is a mother daughter duo, Nerida and Ellen. Located Bungendore, NSW. The focus of our business is to support and empower others through horses. Also, improving the connection and partnership between people and their horses.

We have trained under Colleen Kelly of the International Society of Rider Biomechanics to gain our Level 1 in Rider Biomechanics. This has taught us so much about the importance of position, how it effects the horse and improves balance making you safer in the saddle. Riding lessons have a basis of Rider Biomechanics, this is where a lot of our passion lies. Lessons are available for all levels of rider from beginner to more experienced, on your horse or one of the Lyndonlea horses. Having fun with your horse is a priority and encouraged at Lyndonlea. It is also important to remember that you don???t have to ride a horse to enjoy their company and the benefits that horses provide us. Come and learn how to care and be safe around horses, hang out with the Lyndonlea herd or have fun playing with obstacles on the ground.

We provide horse training, whether it be groundwork, starting under saddle, training, sales prep or lessons with your horse (we can help you start your own horse too). Our methods are kind, we want to work with the horse rather than against it. Our aim is to provide a partnership with the horse so we are able to get the best results out of them. Clicker training is also a highly effective part of our training, with which we have had incredible results.

Lyndonlea Equine is the proud home of Maverick – the miniature horse (this is his facebook page). Maverick and his friends visit nursing homes and various events in the Canberra region. They love to brighten the lives of others and with their incredible personalities, they do it with ease. Maverick and his friends are available for visits, parties and special events.

Our farm is such a peaceful getaway, so we have decided to open it for farm visits, for others to experience what we do at Lyndonlea Equine and the animals we look after. Activities include feeding and spending time with the horses and cows, feeding the chooks and collecting eggs. Or just come for a relax!

We also offer Equine Assisted Learning, which is perfect for all people and great for team development. We offer women’s workshops, EAL for children, corporate groups, couples, and anyone in between. It is great fun and such a lovely way to teach life skills.

Horse Powered Reading is also offered here, with the assistance of horses helping people to improve their reading skills. In a no pressure environment it sure helps people flourish.

We look forward to your visit.
